DERMAL FILLERS

Cosmoderm - Cosmoplast

Human Collagen is another wonderful dermal filler perfect for filling fine lines or for sculpting a lip boarder or filling crows feet after a Botox ® treatment. There are 3 strengths of human collagen, so a product for any line problem. The human collagen product has undergone stringent purification and testing and has been used successfully in Canada, America and New Zealand for many years.

Duration: 4 to 5 months, depending on the area treated.

Juvederm Ultra & Juvederm Ultra Plus

Juvederm was introduced into Australia in January 2007 and is the latest in dermal fillings trend.  It is a clear gel that works by gently restoring structure and volume to the skin. Juvederm is ideal for softly enhancing lip volume or to smooth facial wrinkles.  It is carefully injected beneath the skins surface to fill in or plump out facial wrinkles and folds.

Duration:  6 to 8 months, depending on the area treated

Restylane

Restylane is another hylauronic acid clear gel product that comes in smaller ml measures that can be used for lip enhancement.

Duration:  4 to 6 months

SCLEROTHERAPY OF VEINS

Many people have unsightly veins which are easy to treat by giving repeated injections of a solution into the veins. The vein will dry up and eventually disappear. Smaller veins can be managed with IPL laser.
One leg is treated at a time which needs to be bandaged for 3 days. Bruising and swelling may last for up to 10 days and the bandages may be uncomfortable.
